Purpose: ABE Scholar Awards are designed to support the attendance of students and faculty who submit abstracts to the Association of Biochemistry Educators (ABE) meeting. This award aims to ensure that deserving participants can engage in professional development, share their research, and contribute to the educational community at the conference. A separate application to be considered for these awards is not needed.
The ABE Student Scholar Award recognizes an outstanding student who has submitted an exceptional abstract to the ABE meeting. Selection is based on the significance of the research topic, the appropriateness of the approach, the quality of results interpretation, innovation, and the clarity of the abstract. The award requires a letter of attestation from an ABE member, verifying the student's key involvement in the work presented that will be submitted with the abstract.
The recipient will receive full coverage of conference registration and hotel accommodations at the conference site for the days of the conference [April 27-May 1, 2025].
One Student Scholar Award will be awarded.
The ABE Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award honors two ABE members who have submitted exemplary abstracts to the ABE meeting.
