Our students yearn for feedback! They want to know that they are on track, and crave reassurance as they navigate the medical school experience. When given useful feedback our students can loosen the grip on their imposter syndrome, and become solution-focused to correct specific behaviors that can lead to improved performance. Parents can be amazing at saying things in a way that their child can really understand and internalize. Let’s use this wisdom to improve the way that we provide feedback to our students.
