The Alice Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) in Northwest Arkansas secured preliminary accreditation status by the LCME! We will seat our inaugural class of 48 students in 2025 with the first five cohorts being provided full tuition waivers. Currently, we are seeking a full time Genetics/Cell & Molecular Biology faculty member interested in an active learning curriculum.

This individual will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure students receive broad-based training experience. Foundational sciences are interwoven throughout all four years of the curriculum. Most faculty will have a default 0.8 teaching, 0.1 scholarship, 0.1 service FTE allotment as the role is focused on student success.

Position Rank/Classification

The position is open at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor levels, and assigned rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
